Doula Training Course: Dates and Venues
We’re really pleased to share the latest dates and venues for The BirthBliss Doula Academy Doula Course. We choose places that feel calm and homely, somewhere you can settle in and feel comfortable as you learn.
Imagine spending your training days in a relaxed, home-from-home space, learning the foundations of doula support in a way that feels natural and connected. It’s a gentle, welcoming environment to step into your new role.
A quick note, our courses often fill up quite quickly, so if you feel drawn to a particular date, it’s worth securing your place while it’s available. If the date you want is already full, send us an email and we’ll add you to the waiting list. We’ll let you know if a space opens up.
If you’d like to spread the cost, we’ve made that simple. Tick the payment plan box on the application form and you’ll receive an automatic email with everything you need to set it up.
We’ve also added a short video on YouTube that walks you through how to book your place, including how to choose instalments if that’s useful.
We’d love to welcome you to the course and support you as you begin this chapter in your doula journey.
Would you rather become a doula from the comfort of your own home?
Dive into our self-paced online doula course, a full and thoughtful programme built around eight core modules. You’ll explore everything from birth physiology to the emotional side of supporting families, in a way that feels steady and easy to follow. The course brings together reading materials, engaging videos and recorded sessions with me, so you can learn in your own time while still feeling guided and connected. We also schedule regular Zoom "Doula Days" for all online course participants.
Before you book
Dates can fill quickly and it is worth feeling confident about what you are signing up for.
Our doula course overview explains the four-day format, what is included and how the Diploma works. For module-by-module detail, see the full course curriculum.
The course is FEDANT-accredited and designed to prepare you for birth and postnatal doula work in the UK, with continuity of support before, during and after your training.
If you cannot make an in-person date, our online doula course may suit you better. You can also book a free taster session if you would like to experience how we teach before committing to a date.
