Payment Plans Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By choosing a payment plan with The BirthBliss Doula Academy Ltd, you agree to the following terms and conditions in full.

By selecting a payment plan, you are committing to pay the full course fee. The payment plan is a way to spread the cost over time, it is not a subscription or pay-as-you-go service.

Payments cannot be cancelled once the course has begun, and any remaining balance remains due in full.

2. Eligibility

To be eligible for a payment plan, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Have a valid debit or credit card or bank account

  • Be approved for a payment plan by BirthBliss Academy

3. Communication

All communication regarding your payment plan will be sent to the email address you provided when registering. It is your responsibility to keep your contact details up to date.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Schedule

You must follow the agreed payment schedule. If a payment is missed or delayed, your access to course materials or support may be paused until the issue is resolved.

Missing or stopping payments does not cancel your agreement. The full course fee remains payable.

4.2 Grace Period & Late Fees

There is a 14-day grace period for late payments. After that, a £20 late fee will be charged to your account.

4.3 Failed Payments & Fees

If a payment is declined due to insufficient funds, a £15 fee will be applied. It is your responsibility to ensure your account has sufficient funds on payment dates.

4.4 Retry Attempts

We will attempt to process any failed payment up to two more times. If payment remains unsuccessful, your account may be marked as overdue.

5. Course Access and Certificates

5.1 Online Course

Your Certificate of Completion will only be issued once the full course fee has been paid.

5.2 In-Person Courses

You must have paid at least 80% of the course fee before the start date to attend. Please note, a Certificate of Completion will only be issued once the full course fee has been received, regardless of whether you attended the course.

5.3 Access Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend access to course materials, resources, online groups, mentoring sessions, or bonuses if payments are not up to date. Full access will only be restored once your account is settled.

Suspension of access does not affect your obligation to complete all remaining payments.

6. Early Payment

You are welcome to settle the remaining balance early at any time. Please get in touch and we will confirm the amount due.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

7.1 Cancelling Your Plan

If you wish to cancel your payment plan, you must contact us in writing at least 14 days before your next scheduled payment.

Cancelling your payment plan stops future scheduled payments, it does not cancel the outstanding balance. The full remaining amount becomes due at the point of cancellation.

7.2 Cancellation by The BirthBliss Doula Academy Ltd

We reserve the right to cancel your plan if payments are missed or if these terms are breached. Payments already made will not be refunded, and any remaining balance will become due immediately.

7.3 Refunds

All payments made are non-refundable, including deposits and registration fees. Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and are at our sole discretion.

8. Debt Recovery

If payments are not completed as agreed, and we are unable to resolve this with you directly, the outstanding balance may be referred to a third-party debt recovery service or pursued through the UK small claims process.

You will be responsible for any additional costs or fees associated with recovering the outstanding balance.

9. Modifications

9.1 Requesting Changes

You may request a change to your payment schedule by contacting us in writing. Approval is not guaranteed and will depend on individual circumstances.

9.2 Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these terms, including payment plans and fees, with 30 days’ written notice. Continuing with the payment plan after changes means you accept the updated terms.

10. Liability and Disclaimers

We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential losses arising from payment issues, access restrictions, or delays.

All course materials and support are provided as is, without any warranties.

We cannot be held liable for service interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including technical failures or external disruptions.

11. Disputes and Governing Law

These terms are governed by UK law. If a dispute arises, both parties agree to attempt to resolve it through mediation before pursuing legal action.

12. Privacy

All personal and financial data will be handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
