What is the BirthBliss Academy Self-Paced Online Doula Course?

Our self-paced doula training is a flexible, fully online course designed to help you become a confident, knowledgeable doula. Learn at your own pace, with lifetime access to materials. We also offer interactive Zoom meetings, Doula the Doula sessions, and other events to support your journey.

Who is this doula course for?

This course is ideal for aspiring doulas, mums exploring a career change, and anyone drawn to birthwork who needs a flexible learning schedule.

How long does it take to complete the course?

You can complete the course in your own time – some finish in 4–6 weeks, others take longer. There are no time limits, so you can learn at a pace that suits your lifestyle.

Will I be a qualified doula after completing the course?

Yes. You will receive a BirthBliss Academy Certificate of Completion. If you want more personalised support, our Accreditation Programme offers coaching and guidance for your first few jobs.

Is the course accredited or recognised?

Yes. The BirthBliss Doula Academy course is accredited by FEDANT (Federation of Antenatal Educators). Graduates who complete the full training, including the reflective pre and post-course module work, receive a Diploma in Birth and Postnatal Doula Support and a BirthBliss Academy Certificate of Completion.
