What we need to know about postpartum psychosis

This session will explore what you need to know about postpartum psychosis, including spotting the signs and symptoms, what treatment and recovery look like and what support is available to families affected by the illness.

Dr Sally Wilson is the National Training Coordinator at Action on Postpartum Psychosis (APP). She has a background in lecturing and research in Health and Exercise Sciences at Bangor University, Wales. In collaboration with clinicians and other academics, she uses her lived experience of postpartum psychosis and her academic background to coordinate training for professionals across the UK.
