Organisational Documents & Statements
This is where all the documents that hold The BirthBliss Doula Academy sit.
You will find the policies, statements and guidance that shape how things are run behind the scenes. Some are practical, some are more about the way we work with people, but all of them have been created with care. Nothing here has been copied or put together for the sake of it. Each piece has been written to reflect the values that sit at the heart of BirthBliss, how we teach, how we support and how we show up for one another.
The BirthBliss Doula Academy is a training organisation. Once a doula has completed their training, they move into their own work and take responsibility for their business and professional relationships. We are not able to become involved in disputes between doulas, clients or other professionals.
FEDANT Accreditation
The Diploma in Birth and Postnatal Doula Support, delivered by The BirthBliss Doula Academy, is accredited by the Federation of Antenatal Educators (FEDANT).
FEDANT is an independent organisation that accredits training in antenatal and birth education. Their accreditation process reviews the content, structure and quality of a course against recognised standards.
For our students, this means the training has been assessed by an external body and meets the standards FEDANT sets for education of this kind. It sits alongside the experience, mentoring and ongoing support that have always been part of how we train doulas at The BirthBliss Doula Academy.
If you are reading through these documents, take your time. They are here to offer clarity and a sense of how everything is held.
