Service Description
Our four-day doula training is where we begin together. It gives you the knowledge, understanding and practical foundations you need to step into doula work, although we know that becoming a doula does not happen in a training room alone. Much of the learning unfolds afterwards, as you reflect on what you have learned, begin supporting families and gradually discover the kind of doula you want to be. This is why we continue to support you beyond the four days. Your training includes your pre-course and post-course modules and once these are completed alongside your four-day training, you will receive your Diploma in Birth & Postnatal Doula Support. You will also receive your exclusive BirthBliss course handbook, Doula Starter Kit, notebook and pen, personalised ID card and lanyard plus six months of free membership of The Doula Directory, giving you somewhere to be found by families when you are ready to begin working. After the course, you remain part of the BirthBliss community, with access to our online community and resource hub, regular Live Doula Days and The Doula Sessions. You can also book a 30-minute follow-up call with Kicki when you want to talk something through or think about your next steps. We do not expect you to leave the course knowing everything. We want you to leave with a strong foundation, trust in what you have learned and the reassurance that you have somewhere to come back to as you grow into the role.

Cancellation Policy
If your plans change: We understand that sometimes life changes and you may need to cancel your place. If you book online, you have a 14-day cooling-off period, subject to the applicable consumer cancellation rules. After this period, our cancellation policy is based on how much notice you are able to give us: - More than 28 days before your course: 75% refund - 15 to 28 days before your course: 50% refund - 72 hours to 14 days before your course: 25% refund - Less than 72 hours before your course: no refund Our in-person courses are intentionally small, with a maximum of eight participants. When you book, we hold that place for you and begin preparing for your attendance. As the course gets closer, it becomes increasingly difficult for us to offer your place to somebody else, which is why the amount we can refund reduces. We know that illness, bereavement and unexpected life events happen. If something significant changes, please contact us. Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to offer a transfer to another BirthBliss course at our discretion. If you are paying by instalments, your payment plan is a commitment to the full course fee. Cancelling your place does not automatically cancel any outstanding payments.
