Service Description
Our four-day doula training is packed with everything you need to get started. However, that’s only the beginning. At The BirthBliss Doula Academy, we know the real learning often unfolds after the course ends, when you begin supporting families, finding your feet and growing into the role in your own way. That’s why we continue walking alongside you long after the training week is over. When you train with us, you don’t simply leave with information and inspiration. You become part of a warm and supportive community of doulas who understand the heart of this work and who continue to learn from one another. On completion of the course, along with the pre-course and post-course modules, you will achieve a Diploma in Birth & Postnatal Doula Support. The diploma recognises the time, care and commitment you’ve given to understanding how to support women and families through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Many of our doulas describe the course as personally transformative, not only professionally but emotionally too. Alongside the training, you’ll receive an exclusive handbook and Doula Starter Kit to help you begin building your doula business with confidence. You’ll also receive a personalised ID card and lanyard, together with six months of free listing on The Doula Directory to help families find you as you begin your journey. Support continues through our online community and resource hub, where you’ll find ongoing learning, connection and encouragement. We also host regular sessions to help you deepen your understanding, build confidence and stay connected to the wider doula community. When you’re ready to take your next steps, we offer a 30-minute follow-up call to answer questions, talk things through and help you move forwards. With The BirthBliss Doula Academy, you’re not only joining a course. You’re becoming part of a supportive doula community that continues to hold and encourage you as you grow.

Cancellation Policy
If you want to cancel for other reasons, unlike many organisations that don’t offer refunds at all, we do – albeit on a sliding scale basis. The refunds are based on the full course fee which means that when you book, the non-refundable deposit is £212.00. We don’t offer a full refund because it costs us time and money to process your booking and prepare the event, but our refunds are: If you cancel more than 4 weeks before the event, we’ll give you a 75% refund If it’s 15 days or more until the event, we’ll give you a 50% refund If it’s 72 hours or more until the event, we’ll give you a 25% refund If it’s within 72 hours of the event, we won’t issue a refund. Instead, at our discretion, we may offer a transfer to another of our courses or training days depending on your circumstances. As with all contracts, it’s a two-way thing. We’ll do everything in our power to deliver on our side of the deal and simply ask that you do too. That seems to us to be fair on both sides.
